Hey, order fresh prunes online. Better yet, get a prune tree delivered to your home and grow your own.

Also, since I never played with the original topic, I'm going to reintroduce it--WWYDI:
An alien abducted you? (not that I would do that)

LOL! skeetley, you have way too much energy bouncin' around in this universe! You're just too funny! Miraenda - you should start offering prune trees off your garden site. Boy, you can make a ton of $$ selling these as health food products to customers like skeetley. You just have to advertise it as: "Prunes ... natures way of dumping out your baggage! You'll feel so much better once you do ---- do"

A prune tree? You gardeners know everything. Here I thought prunes were just dried out plums, I never knew you grow a straight prune... Fun fact: In 1905, a labor shortage in California resulted in farmers turning to monkeys to harvest dried plums.

Good point skeetley, maybe I really don't know anything about gardening and my site is just a covert cover. Fun Fact: Plum trees are in the prunus genus

Fun fact: In 1905, a labor shortage in California resulted in farmers turning to monkeys to harvest dried plums. Well, now you have to pick a fight with whoever told you that prunes don't grow on trees. Actually, I thought they grew on bushes and were hand picked by hamsters, but I figured Miraenda should know since she's a garden expert. * edited - Anyway, didn't you know that this forum doesn't need to be politically correct? What's the matter with you!

So all these years when skeetley's parents told him that "money doesn't grow on trees", they never even knew the truth, huh?!

I wonder if any parents have told their kids that "money doesn't grow on prune trees"?

Hmm, I haven't seen one of those in the backyard. But each time I phone home and ask for money my parents say they will go out back and get some off the money tree. Maybe I just need to look harder.
I love the money tree commercial on TV. "There is a branch near you" always cracks me up.

Depends. If an alien abducted me and brought out an anal probe, well then I would have to object. Otherwise, I'd go along for the ride.
