.shtml-->.html security prob?
« on: May 10, 2005, 05:54:59 AM »
Hi,

Thanks for any help.

If I put the following into my .htaccess with the purpose of changing my .shtml pages into .html will it effect site security in any way?

"AddType text/html .html
AddHandler server-parsed .html"

Any other worries if using this?

Cheers,

jhon

Not 100% sure, but it wouldn't be any more of a risk than the parsing of .shtml files I would think...
