Author Topic: Affiliate commission vs Coupons And few (10) queries  (Read 31508 times)

I am happy to be an LP affiliate.
I would like to know/request
1. the newly available coupons for my customers to use
2. the regularly available (permanent) coupons for my customers to use
3. the newly available coupons (1) + affiliate gets commission
4. the regularly available coupons (2) + affiliate gets commission
5. if commission is same or equal for all the products available on LP ie; any kind of hosting like email hosting, starter plan, ...,... vps hosting, dedicate hosting... etc
6. any increase in bandwidth, storage for reseller plans
7. I see different coupons regularly on LP changing. I refer and if my customer signsup using the coupon on face of the front page (ex: now, football special), I urge affiliate should get commission as generally anyone will use the coupon
8. unlimited windows hosting (domains, bandwidth, database, emails etc..) just like lunux hosting, any plans
9. any support from your end to run campaign, road shows, banner; brochure print etc... or opening franchise in India
10 It would be nice if cap on paypal ($500) to be decreased to one sale = withdraw money for existing affiliates or for affiliates who already earned and doing well. It increases liquidity to affiliates to do some spending on promoting LP and own business


It would be very easy for affiliates to sell more products if you can communicate via email about the changes/updates of coupons and their details regularly on update and inform if affiliate gets commission or not etc.. information needs to be included.

I am happy to hear you are a happy affiliate of ours.  There are several coupons that affiliate customers can use.  You can contact affiliate@lunarpages.com to get those.  Affiliate plan customers usually do not get their own coupons, until they can drive X ammount of traffic and sales to the site.  Usually this take around/about 80+ referrals per month.

In most cases with any special coupons offered by Lunarpages, if it is used the affiliate will not receive a commission or they will receive a discounted commission, depending on the special or coupon in question.

Commissions are only available for initial signup, and not for any additional services or renewals. I would also suggest you check out the following links:

So, will starter plan yeild commission?

Please let/have someone from your team answer/plan for queries 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Also have them (affiliate@lunarpages.com) email me about the "There are several coupons that affiliate customers can use.  You can contact affiliate@lunarpages.com to get those." ie; giving coupons (plan name as on lunarpages with coupons available) to my customers and also I get commission.

No, the starter hosting plan is not apart of the affiliate plan.

No, the reseller plan is not apart of the affiliate plan.  We only award commission for new signups, not renewals or upgrades.

Not in most cases.  As mentioned before, in most cases with any special coupons offered by Lunarpages, if it is used the affiliate will not receive a commission or they will receive a discounted commission, depending on the special or coupon in question.

Thanks for the feedback.  I don't see this limit changing anytime soon, but will pass your thoughts along.
