Hi,

I need to set up a newsletter page where the pages appear as if they are turning when the reader goes on to the next page. What is the best way to create this? Are there any tutorials about this?

Thanks,

You can buy a book (http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/javascript/2004/09/03/flashhacks.html) and do it yourself, buy the control for about $25 (http://www.page-flip.com/), or download it for free (http://www.iparigrafika.hu/pageflip/).

Google is a beautiful thing...

I found a dynamic version of the page flip, via our friend, Google. The files are preloaded from an xml file. I'm using a popup window on my Wordpress blog (Walter Mitty) because the blog's design is too small for an open book. You can check it out on my Walter Mitty link below, in the Flash Book - Mexican Comics post. I've tested it only on Firefox & IExplorer. There're some differences. In IExplorer, you have to click twice on a right corner to get started, while in Firefox it only takes the one click to get started. I think there's a way to start the flash so it'd only take one click for both browers, but I don't know the code. If you do??? Also, I'd like to know how the flash book looks in other browsers... Thank you.

Here's a fix for it: http://weblog.motion-graphics.org/

Third item on the page.

I tried many scripts & variations of scripts to get the flash book started by itself. This worked:

The zip file in the second paragraph has everything. It works with Firefox, also - though Firefox was not the problem.

Thanks for your interest & help.
