Does anyone know how to create this effect that is on the water?  Confused I need to create this effect for a client, any help would be great!

Hi Kent,

Effects as those are usually done using another program other than flash. Many use Adobe Illistrator or other media / digital software. When its completed its usually then imported into flash as frame by frame.

Ive used Photoshop before to make a water affect like those, and then imported it into flash.

Basically its like making a GIF (image by image). You will have to create an image and then keep altering it however making it so it loops smoothly. It can take alittle bit of time to complete (especially on the size) but the outcome is well worth it.

I finally found out how to do this. Its called a caustics generator, here is the link if anyone wants to create this effect
