this must be a classic question, but why is it that when a page loads in IE with a Flash file or some other plugin, you have to click on the object before you can begin interacting with it?

is there a fix for this?  thanks!

This is due to some patent issues. I seem to remember that it wasn't like this before and Microsoft had to change this.
