2 issues:

1:  I'm using Flash MX (not 2004), and I followed the HELP instructions on using a ScrollPane component with a dynamic text field...the text loads but the scrollpane doesn't work??? why?

2:  I'm doing an irregular shape tween and I'm getting unexpected results...ie. Flash is adding lines when it makes the morph.....the first and last frames are correct, but the frames it shows in between are not what I want....how do I correct this?

I guess this forum is not well-trafficked enough to get a quicker response?

Well maybe you just haven't caught the attention of the right Flash expert.  Smiling

Could you give more detail and example about the issues you are having?  That might help somebody with some Flash knowledge better troubleshoot your issues.

well, to further elaborate on the above...

1:  the ScrollBar Component I'm trying to use with a dynamic text field is not working properly.
I created the dynamic text field with "multiline" set, gave it an instance name and then I drag-and-drop the ScrollBar Component right from the Component window onto the dynamic text field and I make sure that the TargetTextField for ScrollBar is set to the same as the Instance Name of the dynamic text field (which it does by default).  The text field loads properly from file, but the ScrollBar doesn't scroll even though the text field is "overflowing"....don't know what the deal is here???

2:  I ran across the "Shape Hints" for my shape tween that doesn't look right, but I don't understand how to use the Shape Hints to correct the issue.  I can only add shape hints on the first and last frames, but the first frame is basically just a black dot and there really isn't anything to correct on the first frame...it's all the frames in between that are screwed up, but I can't add shape hints to them for some reason???  help with shape hints!!!
