Can I use the same mysql database for both XMB forum and PHP-nuke? If not, I would prefer to use PHP-nuke but already installed the forum through c-panel. How do I remove the forum? Should I remove the database and then remove all the files in the folder created during installation? Am I missing any other steps?

Thanks,
Mike

you can use the same DB as long as there are not tables that one or the other creates taht are duplicate.

If I wanted to remove the xmbforum from my website, would I just need to remove the mysql database and the directory I stored all the .php files in?

Don't remove the database, remove the tables for XMB. And then yes, just delete the directory structure for XMB and go from there. Remember, do NOT delete the DATABASE. Delete the TABLES for XMB. If you delete the DB, everything gets deleted that was stored in that DB including PHP-Nuke if you installed it.
