i have set a cron job to execute the following command:

/home/chiadd2/geeklog/emailgeeklogstories.php

I need it to run that php file each day at a certain time.  clearly, i have done something wrong.  i get an email that says...

/bin/sh: /home/chiadd2/geeklog/emailgeeklogstories.php: No such file or directory

but the file is there and i seem to have everything spelled correctly.  i saw in a previous post that you spelled out the directory with a /usr at the begining as in:

/usr/home/chiadd2/geeklog/emailgeeklogstories.php

and i have tried that as well.  i get the same email.  what am i doing wrong?

thanks.

The short answer is "I don't know"!

It seems that you have done it right.

However, obviously, there must be something wrong.

Try checking the permissions on the files, you need to make them executable.
