Hello,

This morning I created a forum/BBS through the CP. After thinking things over I decided I wanted to delete the it. I successfully deleted the DB, however the forum name still shows up in Modify an existing Board in the CP. Does anyone know why this isn't removing?

thanks!!

Did you delete the database and database username?

If not, login to your control panel, and delete them, in the mySQL database section.

After you have done that, it will probably go.

Sorry, I didn't read your message properly.

Try deleting the username for the database.

Try deleting the folder it was installed in.

Look below your public_html directory, in your root directory, for anything to do with forums or xbm.

I remember coming across something like this before.

Hmm, no dice. I don't see anything with those names. Forum was what I was looking to delete before I posted this.

Thanks for the input though!

Check your main dir.The one that hosts your public html and other things.

I found a file in my account  called xmbs that i deleted. It wasnt there before i installed the board.

I also deleted the user in the database plus the folder of the board.

Now there are no more references to old installs of the board in the  Board setup in the Cp.

Tried reinstalling twice but get the same thing over and over...

Not enough databases...

I have one database and two users which works well.

Isnt adding a user to the database what the installer should do?

Or do the BB board have to share my Ikonboard user in some way?
