Hello, Well it's Sunday morning and I'm working on my new website that's running fine thanks for Lunarpages. I'm working on some secure areas and came across this:
Using file manager I go to my Public_html folder.
I then 'Create' folder and give it a name.
I then look for it and I don't see it in Public_html so I go 'Up' one level and low and behold there it is.
I've verified it with my FTP so as not to think it was just some gui problem with Cpanel.
And WAIT I don't want you to think I didn't try, here's the gig:
If you click on the 'folder' next to the words Create New Folder, the input box wil appear and you can enter a folder name but it will put it in your Root directory!
If you click on the WORDS Create New Folder it will give you a input box to enter (with your path above it) and create the folder in the current directory.
Very clever of Cpanel to give us dual function like that.. just sorta hard to sort out on a Sun Morning. So this notes just a quick heads up.
I didn't see this 'feature' in the users guide
