Hi there,

I'm having problems configuring Filezilla for my website.

The domain and the username seems to be correct, but it's falling down on the password. Am I right in thinking that my FTP password is the same as my CPanel password, as it doesn't seem to be working?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Yes, that should be correct.  Double check some of the suggestions here - see if that helps:

Thanks a lot for your help,

Same issue here but with WS_FTP
Worked last month, but not today
Tried without AV and Firewall, no change

Message says :Connect Failure"

Tried:
www.mydomain.com
ftp.mydomain.com
http://ftp://ftp.mydomain.com
http://www.mydomain.com
Port 21

On Basic Plan, GALBA server

Same Username and Password that gets me into CP
Any thoughts?

firewall is a big issue here, if it worked then you upgraded filezilla and now it does not work, you may be blocking filezilla, just make sure the new version number is listed in your accepted software list and not blocked, sometimes you will see filezilla listed in your firewall list but it goes by version,   make sure that is updated....

also check the transfer settings tab in filezilla (under each site manager) and make sure the number of similtanious logins is set correctly..  i found if i was loged into my cp and then i used filezilla i had to log off cp first, so i changed this number to accomodate me..

as far as anything else thats all i can see that might happen if you have not changed anything and it works fine then all of a sudden it does not...

If you are having issues connecting via FTP, and the error is something like ":Connect Failure" then make sure to check that you can access cpanel  and your website.

If not, this may be indicative of a block on the server and you would need to contact support (support.lunarpages.com via web or support@lunarpages.com via email)

Be sure to include:

1. Domain name
2. FTP client used
3. IP address (go to www.whatismyip.com)
4. Traceroute to your domain name.
