New user here, trying to set up a quicksite.  I am using a template that has a customizable header, and the example picture is about 250x250, or so.  I would like to have my own picture mirror that size, approximately, but in the Customize Header script it tells me that this template supports images up to 805x388 in size, and when I load my picture, it automatically expands my image to that size.  I don't want my picture spread across the entire top of the site!  I have tried resizing my image, numerous times, in Photoshop, to no avail...Please assist, someone!  I am getting very frustrated with what should be a no-brainer issue.

Thanks,

first welcome to the world of free websites, nothing is ever free, you might be able to build a site easily but there are associated headaches that go along with it, as a website designer myself i deal with it ever day, sorry your having a hard time..

im not familiar with the quicksite but many of them have the settings for the header image in a css file.   if you can possibly post the source code for the header it would help, but basically what your looking for is a css file or possibly some other script file that is setting the size...

if that does not work and if the original image was the right size before you added your image, then just simple save the old image as old and rename your image to the original image name..

let me know if this helps, i need more information to be able to help..
