Hi,

I trying to set up  a working porfolio of my art online.

I started the process off last week by using adobe photoshop to create htm pages.  so i think i've got some sort of start, but not really b/c each section of my art is in a folder that contains an index page,  and several images folders (they're slideshows).

i think adobe might be able to help me move the files over, but ... well, how do i do that?

I read the manual and thought i got it but ... not really.  not at all actually.

to be more specific, how would i transfer files from my computer into , or onto, my newly created domain name/web site?

thanks in advance,

Sarah

You can do it two ways. Possible more, but I'll tell you two!

The first is by logging into CPanel, then going to the File Manager, then browsing to the public_html directory (by clicking on the folders)

Then put your files in the public_html directory, that is the directory where your files should be put if you want people to see them on the internet.

Uploading by CPanel takes a while because you can only upload 10 or so files at once.

The other way is to:

Download an FTP program, e.g. www.bpftp.com
Connect to the server, e.g. mars.lunarpages.com or whichever one you are on. Connect with your login username and password, upload your files in the public_html directory.

I'm not sure about uploading with your Adobe product, because I don't have it. It should be in the help file though.
