Some of my friends with Mac computers are having problems with my site. It opens and loads, but the links on the first page do not highlight or work.

If you manually type in the URL and go to any of the other pages, the links work as they should.

Any thoughts again?

It's because the product you used to make your site, from http://www.v-com.com made html/javascript code which isn't compatible with Mac computers (at least, not with the browser your visitor(s) were using).

The fix is to redesign your page, using a different product.

Welcome to the annoying world of the internet and webdesign!

They are able to navigate everything except the home page, there isn't some trick I can do to avoid redoing everything (he asks plaintively)?

Yep, it was a WebEasy problem. Macs running IE 5 can't read links if they are posted over images. Not too hard a fix though.

However, I'm beginning to wish I hadn't choseb WebEasy as I seem to be locked in a bit and it has some quirks... no importing HTML pages, no individual word links in text, and no tables.

Oh well.

Thanks again

Try Dreamweaver, that's a good one.

Frontpage / Frontpage express are ok too.

There are free trials on the internet. You could search www.download.com

I do my webediting in Notepad, but that's not the easiest option.
