Here's the deal I'm not a coder, I'm using a program called RapidWeaver for the Mac to create my site. I bought a plugin from http://www.omnidea.it/rapidcart/ called rapid cart.

As you can see on his site (that was created with rapidcart) you add something to the cart refresh the page and everything is kept in the cart system. It says on the website it uses cookies to store the cart. The cart system is set to expire in 24 hours.

I set up some test pages using it as a test and it's not keeping things in the cart on refresh or if you decide to checkout and come back to the page it looses all info that was added. Now it works great when I publish to my harddrive and open the html locally. That is why I think it's a server setting I need to do..

Here is the test site.

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid I cannot help you- but I had to say that's a neat cart system- good looking! I hope someone can figure it out (it does look like a cookie is being sent and stored).
