I recently purchased my domain and I am trying to set-up my website but it is taking me forever. I have been trying to use the Wix software and I was wondering if the Wordpress stuff might be easier to use?

Wix makes it easy for all levels of users to build websites quickly as it enables you to drag and drop content wherever you want. With WordPress, you’ll need to be prepared to spend a lot of time to learn how to use it.

However, I will suggest you to go with Wordpress because :

  • WordPress is an open source platform, this means that their codes are open to everybody to use and modify. There are thousands of designers, developers and enthusiasts out there to help if you get stuck in Wordpress.
  • There are thousands of themes available for WordPress which allow you to change the design of your website quickly.
  • If you need to extend the functionality of your WordPress site without knowing how to program, you can use install plugin related to the desired functionality.

Answer is no. But in terms of functionality, Wordpress will crush Wix.

Oh, it's really cool for this method. I like your approach to it.
