daft question maybe  Confused
Anyone know what LunarPages ISP TAG is?
Friend has a site hosted here on LP and wants to move the domainname across to LP as well.
His current domainname 'holder' has said." give us your new domainname ISP TAG and we will transfer it?"

 Confused

Never heard of it but a quick Google search turns up some results like http://www.eukhost.com/web-hosting/kb/ips-tags-isp-tags-uk-domains-tags/

Yea. cheers Scanman.  Thumbs Up
I tried that first and got the same link.
All my UK domains give a "tag" that i assume are the places i first registered them.
His current (uk based)  registrar are asking for the tag for his new registrar.
which im thinking is going to be TUCOWS which is who LP use.  Confused

TBH I think the 'old' registrars being funny as they dont want to loose a client.
Just hoping someone can tell me, he ( my friend) needs to tell them its *******
and get LP to do the rest ( after he pays LP for the transfer naturally )

Hiya Pete,

The IPS TAG for Lunarpages would be TUCOWS-CA.
