Hey guys,
Well i have few questions, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right topic since there is lots of subforums , and they are all related to my question...

Me and my friend decided to buy the basic hosting plan for 2 years (with the spring coupon) , everything seems to be just PERFECT, except for the problem with payment, i still cannot decide how to pay for this...
I do not have a paypal account since its pretty pointless in our country as you cant redeem money but just fund in.
VISA is not an option too (at least for this year) i do have a credit card, but it works only inside the country, as Ive never bought a thing in internet...
Now it seems like the only option left for me is the Western union,
if I'm not mistaken i can send the money through a local mail or its too somehow connected to an internet payment?
Is there any guarantee I'm actually gonna get the hosting if i pay this way ..

Sorry about this much questions, I'm still new to the internet not to mention internet payments,

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

BIIIG thanks in advance Wink

When going through the sign up process, and when you pick the payment method you should be given a list of options that are available to your region.  You can see some of our alternative payment methods here.  Hope that helps!

Thanks alot Mitch!
Well after finding that one of my friends are able to pay with hes visa payment is not a problem anymore.

Few questions that i want to know before starting Wink
1)
Does post nuke differs much from phpnuke? I've never used post-nuke
and from what i know its security much better, i would love to use it instead of phpnuke if they are pretty same to master and their look..

2)
Site content.
Well basically we want to open a link portal, which will include on it links for games, programs, and such which are usually placed on rapidshare...
+ wallpaper that we will to upload on the hosting space, and maybe other files to make it easy for download (the files we will be uploading on the hosting will be free) so its not against the law i think. Correct me if im wrong.
Are you okay with it?

3)
Uploading.
I'm planning on letting some users (vip access) be able to upload their files and share between other vip members, is this allowed?
It shouldnt use too much traffic as nobody outsite the vip community will be able to download the files ...

Well i think this is it , another big thanks Wink

You can check out PostNuke here:
http://noc.postnuke.com/

Look around there, and you can do some comparisons between the two.  With site content, as long as you are not sharing copyrighted materials then you should be ok.  Hosted here or not, you would not be able to share illegal or copyrighted material with your hosting plan.

With user access, as long as it is apart of your web site business, I don't see an issue with this.  You will need to keep tabs though on the types of files being upload to make sure you are not in violation of the terms of service or acceptable use policy.  Hope that helps!

No, if you were caught hosting or pointing to where illegal or copyrighted material was hosted then you could be in violation of the Lunarpages TOS and AUP.  As long as you keep everything within the boundaries of US law though you should be fine.  If you want, you could e-mail in examples of the type of web site you would like to host to sales@lunarpages.com and we would be happy to give you a little more insight in on this.
