Hi all,

I'll get this site up and running one of these days, but until then...  I'm slightly perplexed by the cPanel File Manager. I've scoured LP's FAQ as well as the cPanel Manual for answers but with no luck so here I am to beg for assistance again. I have a couple questions:

1)  When I open my File Manager there is constantly a 1.5" strip of white across the bottom of the screen so even if I scroll as far as I can go, the white still cuts off a portion of the contents of my File Manager. Is this normal?

2)  How do I open a File Manager folder (i.e. tmp or public_html) to view/edit its contents, as, though I receive options, I'm not receiving those options when I click on the folders?

3)  With regards to uploading to the File Manager, is there any way to upload an entire folder or do I have to upload each html and image file individually? I just uploaded to LP for the first time and tried to upload my entire folder so that links to the images (which are located in FrontPages automatically generated images folder) wouldn't be broken but I wasn't given the ability to select a folder, only to open the folder and select a html or image file within it. And if I can only upload each html and image file individually, how do I do it so that the link between page and image aren't broken because uploading the way I just did doesn't work?

Thank you in advance for your help and, as always, have a fantastic day!

Most kindly,   "[Smile]"
Dawn

After posting I had a thought. With regards to question 3, I've never used it but would uploading via WS_FTP rather than the cPanel File Manager's upload option solve this problem?

i got the same problem on #1  but i just click the maximize button on the page and it gets fixed
seems like it rezises the content to more then 100%

to upload files to your website you should use a ftp program, its way beter and lets you upload multiple files at at time

i use cute ftp pro and i like that has a built in text editor to modify html files quickly

You can also click on the text link to the file manager, and it will open up in a new window. It can be fully resized and fit your whole screen.

However i would recommend a ftp client instead such as cuteftp (http://www.cuteftp.com)
