I just realized that portions of my site, including button links, will not work with Netscape since they are written in VbScript.

Do I need to support Netscape also?  Do I need to change the VbScript to Javascript?

I don't normally use Netscape, so it's no big deal to me, but I don't want to inconvenience anyone who might wander onto my site.

vb script is only compatible with Internet Explorer.

There are many other browsers that people use, so I would really recommend you change to javascript.

Netscape, Opera, Konquerer, there are loads...

Stephan,

Thanks for the information.  I've added support for Netscape now.  I hope it works with the other browsers you mentioned, I've never heard of them before.

Do I need to find previous versions of these browsers too or is it OK to verify it works with the latest versions?

Most people actually have quite up to date versions.

The people who use Opera and Konquerer and stuff like that know what they are doing, so I leave it up to them to upgrade to the latest versions, and don't worry about it!

I am currently rewriting my webpage to work in all browsers.

It's much easier just to steer clear on non-standard html or javascript.

Once you've made a site, altering it to cope with all browsers can be tricky.
