Hey Guys and Gals,
My name is Nowler!

I am very sorry if this question has been asked many times or if it is a stupid question but i really need your help.

I am not a Tech-Head and find all this quite confusing,

I am the Administrator of muscleheads4life.net which is a bodybuilding forum,
The guy that helped my set it up has been letting me use his server but now i want to be independant.

I own the Name Muscleheads4life.net, i paid for it last november (i think that is my domain, correct??), i bought it from *another host*

I am the only administrator on my forum and all rights to it are mine,
I am using a Vbulletin board, if thats any help to you.

What do i need to be independant?
Is it just a server?
And if so, what size?

Thank you very much for your time.
If you have any questions please ask and i will help you to the best that i can  Confused

You can go with a Basic account. Signup at http://lunarpages.com . Once the account is activated, you will need to copy over your files and databases then edit your script settings to match the new username/path/dbname/dbuser. When everything is ready, change the nameservers at your current registrar to ours.

Thank you ever so much!!

Is copying these files and editing scripts going to be easy for me?
I have no history with this stuff AT ALL!
Is there an option where one of the Tech-Heads at lunarpages will do all this for me?

Sorry for my Ignorance,
I really do not know what im doing

P.S: I see that the Basic set up as with all the others are pay monthly,
Can this be paid yearly and paid in advance?

You will need to download the files via FTP. See http://lunarpages.com/tutorials. You will need to export the database via phpmyadmin or backups depending on your control panel. We can help to import it once you upload it to your account with FTP. No, we don't do this stuff for you. You may be able to find a friend to help or help here in our forums.

We do not have a monthly payment plan for Basic but yes, it can be paid yearly in advance.
