Hi folks -

I build my website using a template that was available through Fantastico.  I incorporated a blog with Wordpress, and have discovered how great the plug-ins available to WP are.  I an totally naive when it comes to most techno stuff, but I catch on relatively quickly.  So my question is this - are there plug-ins available for use on the website itself?  Or are they only available through WP.  And if so, would it make sense to just spend a day setting up a WP site now that I got the hang of it?

Yes, I understand that the plug-ins I've downloaded for WP will only work on the WP portion of my site.  What I am asking, however, is whether there are similar tools that can be used in the website itself?  And if not, does it make sense to just do a WP site?

Honestly, you guys have been incredibly responsive and I thank you for that, but the information given to non-programmer people when scoping out using Lunarpages makes it seem very easy to create a website, but the reality is not so easy, at least it hasn't for me, and I am not a techno-dunce, a newbie yes, but I do know html and when signing up for Lunarpages it makes it seem like you don't even really need to know that. 

Nor is it easy to get the upfront information, ie - does using Wordpress to create my website save me alot of headache and give me more options?

incredibly simple site at this point - informational pages, and soon a gallery as well.  i like the idea of using wordpress so that the blog can look the same as the site.  leawolf.com is the site, and leawolf.com/blog is the blog - i haven't linked them up quite yet.
