You also habve the option to create counters with your account here.Check the CGI center in the cpl.

Thanks alot for the response...I found my way to both places you suggested.
 However, once I got to the cgi, I then found the hit counter thing, entered and there were a couple lines of code in there.
 My really rookie question now, is:  Exactly where to I put the html, in there, for the hit counter?  Thanks.

What you do is copy the code generated on to the page where you wish to have the counter.

Myself i keep it in the "body" section of the page.I think you can paste it just about anywhere there.

Or....experiment...copy and paste the code to different places to see if it fits your needs.

You will have to upload the page in order to see the counter in action.

i was afected mi old hot counter when ever lunarpages moves servers
so i decided for an external counter

look at my site intro page
keeps unique ip's as counter
