I want to set up a test area for a software vendor to load files to test an application.

How do I do this. I have set up the sub-domain
of test.blue-point-media.com but can I
allow passwd access for people to ftp or rcp
into it? How can I do this?

When you setup an extra FTP account, you will make a subdirectory in public_html which you will be able to login to via FTP.

However, this is not secure, as anyone who knows the username and password could login and upload a malicious script.

If you use Anonymous FTP (available in the CPanel), you would avoid this problem.

I hope this helps a bit.

What is rcp?

Did you read the control panel manual? It is described in there  "[Smile]"

You can find the manual on the lunarpages login page.
