Hi, very new to Lunar pages. Wondering if anyone knows how to set-up the email in Outlook 2007. I've followed this https://support.lunarpages.com/knowledge_bases/show/83 and it hasn't worked. Seems its for 2003 though. Anyone able to help???

What type of errors/problems did you run into?  Give a little more information on any error messages you got back after setting it up this way, and we'd be happy to help you troubleshoot.

Well i set up the account. for log-on information i put my email details and not my hosting account details, not sure which one is needed. I have played around with this a couple of times trying different setting and so far every time i test the setting i get this error. http://www.bullantmarketing.com/emailissue.jpg

You are on an LPCP server. Please change the POP and SMTP servers to mail.bullantmarketing.com Please also be sure SMTP authentication is enabled or the program is set to check POP before SMTP.

i changed it to mail.bullantmarketing.com and enabled the SMTP authentication. However, i don't know how to check pop before smtp.

it can log into incoming server when i tested the account, however it still doesn't send to outgoing; 'Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Set the outgoing SMTP port to 587 instead of 25.

for my experience, forwarding your email to gmail or yahoo is better and more convenient than using outlook.
