My account went live yesterday and I've enabled Spamassassin on my account but it's not flagging obvious spam for me.

I've been using Spamassassin for over a year now and I know what headers to look for.  They're not there.  It's as if Spamassassin is not even turned on (but I confirmed that it is).

I spoke with Max today and he's says he's not very familar with Spamassassin.  I took his advice and sent an email to support and I'm posting here.

Any ideas anyone?

Does it mark any spam at all?

You said it didn't mark some obvious spam, I'm just wondering whether it has been able to identify any spam at all?

It doesn't mark any spam at all.

No X-Spam-Status, no X-Spam-Level, no X-Spam headers of any kind.  I'm supposed to get some X-Spam headers whether the mail is spam or not.  Like I said, it's as if Spamassassin is not processing my mail at all.

And I want to enter your spamassassin contest dammit :-)

hmmm...this seems very odd.  you can still enter the contest by sifting through your old mail.  it's pretty difficult to beat windsun with his 40+ rating one last week.

edit:
damn i didn't even realize that windsun got a 56 one.  i don't think i can beat that.

I suspect that 56 rating will stand the test of time    "[Big

But aside from that, I had no problem setting it up - in fact all I did was enable it from Cpanel and then adjust the default spam level from 5.0 to 5.3.

I spoke with Don in tech. support today about the spamassassin problem I'm having.  Apparently he performed some magic and now spamassassin is working just fine.

THANK YOU !!!
