subdomain statistics?

subdomain statistics?

Hi all!

I purchased a hosting plan the other day and I have a question about the subdomain statistics.

I have set up a subdomain and the DNS information has been propagated.

I can read the webalized statstics for the main domain. But when I entered CPanel 5 manager and click the Subdomain Stats, I got a message saying: "Unable to find any subdomain with stats pages". I can view the subdomain, no problem. Where did I miss in the setup?

This question needs to be answered by support@lunarpages.com

The statistics used to be troublesome in the past, but now are regularly updated.

If the subdomains are not used, then there will be no statistics however!

If you e-mail support@lunarpages.com , they should be able to find out what the problem is exactly.

You can download compressed log files from your CPanel aswell, which you can use 3rd party software to analyse.

Maybe I wasn't patient enough. The webalizer showed up today for my subdomains and it recorded 4 days of visit activities. I'm curious why there's such a delay? The main domain was webalized the day the DNS was propagated.

I think the statistics don't work until the domain has been setup.

The delay was probably something to do with the domain being activated.

If you have any more problems with it, please write back and someone will take care of it.
