I have registered about 200 people with distinct usernames and passwords.  I've done this through the cpanel. I would like to have a more elegant log in page, than the drop down window that appears.  The print is too tiny to read and my directions for getting a password are a small part of the LunarPage provided blurb on the window.  It is also at the end of their blurb.

This web page was written very simply in html, no CSS or anything else flashy.  I am a beginner.  Is it possible to add a front page that asks for passwords, and if they don't have one - give directions for emailing me?  I've tried to look this up through searching, but all the acronyms start making me dizzy. (I don't know if I am using Apache or not, for instance)
