Well, I mean, obviously it's meant to help kill off spam, but...

I activated Spam Assassin, and then later I got a spam from Korea.  I could not detect Spam Assassin's fingerprints anywhere.  What should I be looking for?

Thank you.

Eliz.

at the top of the email body of any message identified by spamassassin as spam, you should find this

code:
This mail is probably spam.  The original message has been attached
along with this report, so you can recognize or block similar unwanted
mail in future.  See http://spamassassin.org/tag/ for more details.

I see I'm not the only one with Spamassassin problems.  Spamassassin is not leaving any fingerprints for me either.

Anyone have any ideas?  I still didn't get a ticket for the email I sent to support yesterday.

I just tried to view some obvious spam through webmail (Horde).  Not only had Spam Assassin not done anything, but viewing caused my system to freeze; I had to reboot.

I think I'll stick with MailWasher from home.

Mail Washer:

It's been working great, and is much more convenient.

Thanks anyway.

I have never had any problems with SA. All I did was activate it. I do not use browser mail though, I use pop3.
