The thing is, it's no fun and kinda pointless giving a prize to a website that already shows promise and looks good. I believe there are plenty of people out there who have had a go at creating a site (and good on them for their efforts), but some need professional help! lol No shame in admitting that. Please be sure to include when you're submitting: - Site url
- What you don't like about your site and how you think it can be improved
- Why you are most deserving of this prize
This contest is open to ALL Lunarpages customers, even moderators. Our moderators work so hard for us, and I believe they should also have the opportunity to be in the running The only people who aren't eligible are Lunarpages staff.

I guess i can throw in my oscommerce site (never turn down a free stuff) .IMO it's ok but needs a professional touch (banner) maybe a new footer/header.or a completely differnet layout. This site contains adult products (toys, lingerie) so if that offends you please don't click. Also I think it would be a great test to try and makeover an ecommerce store. Woops forgot the third requirement:Why would I deserve this? Because I am trying an online store so I can quit my regular fulltime job to be home with my daughter. www.wetegg.com

Ok, I suppose I must nominate my site www.honeyrunapiaries.comVisual design is just not my thing. The banner definately can be improved to look more professional, and I really don't like the color scheme. I was trying to shoot for a honey/beeswax type color scheme, but after several hours I really haven't come up with anything I like (though it's better than where I started). On the ecommerce side it could use a more unique look as well. While the code is heavily modified (code I can do), the look is is pretty much plain out of the box. When it comes to colors it's a good thing my wife picks my clothes because I'd probably be looking pretty bad myself if it's anything other than jeans and a t-shirt. Right now the site represents a growing hobby with hope some day of being a full time business. -Tim

No way there is anything wrong with that site ! I liked it so well I bought something while I was there ! Nice models too, brunette (my favorite flavor) lol My site definitely is worse !! As for the honeyrunapiaries site, it is also way better than mine, I am about to buy some honey there to use with what I bought from the wetegg site lol RAT

I nominate http://www.pleasantvalleycabins.comWell ugly I don't think it is. But definitely unsightly when you "make the screen smaller". It gets all garbled up. I don't know much about anything and just made it with FrontPage, so I'm not sure I'll understand how to fix it.....I do have a post in asking about it, but the main page seems to be the worst and the one I don't want to do it most. I could use help.................we're doing ok, but I think I'm losing people who view it smaller and right off the bat it looks bad and they leave!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help! Peggy

Okay, this isn't a real nomination for a prize, but just to show you how bad a first site really can be.... Actually, I don't know whether to laugh or cry or be totally embarrassed by this one. It was put together by my son when he had an inkling to learn a bit of html. I told him about the contest and he was jazzed about having me nominate his site though. He said it would be great if it won because then he could put on the site "Winner of the LunarPages Ugliest Site Contest". Heh, so what's wrong with the site... well take a look and see... BTW, there really are "Back" links on each page. Enjoy. http://markhamworld.com/chris/index.htm
