I love being the first to vote. Makes me feel special. And I adore the Pacman design! All of them are fantastic, but I'd be psyched to wear that one at Hosting Con next year!

Man- that's a tough one- they are all really good. I guess I had to go with #5 as well, simply because I think it would cause a lot of double takes and stares.

Ok, I'm confused now. Is the limited colour palette that Amy had specified being ignored now? As by going through the list of entries to vote from, I see only 3 entries which respect the 4 colour limit, the others using gradients which result in 200+hues in order to maintain quality.
Please don't get me wrong, in no way do I wish to bash the other contestants or their entries: they're great. I'm just trying to clarify what restrictions we were told were present in this contest. As if it this restriction was not present, I would have surely entered some more complex ideas as I'd be able to utilize a much larger colour palette.

I have to go with #1. Needs a Lunarpages logo on opposite side of shirt.

Can I vote my own design?…hehehehe
Never mind, just to be seen is already very good for me. I like the idea of my simple design, less is better...but it makes other people think...=^.^=

i understand your concerns danny but you can pretty much presume the t-shirt (what ever the winning design is) will be printed in 4-colour due to cost effectiveness. it really wouldn't be feasible any other way and, may i add, you should have little to worry about as yours is the best design. i've been subject to this kind of stuff all through my professional career and your t-shirt is the only one i'd pass. ok, so i may only wear it outside an exhibition for 'special' occasions - like decorating (ha! ) but it does it's job very effectively, tis' retro, complies by the rules, easy on the eye etc - in fact it's a shame you couldn't squeeze in a comment about "uranus" too.. great job, got my vote.

When a t shirt is printed, a screen is used for each color (or 'Hue') of the design. The gradient of a color is produced by varying 'dot' sizes (they may not actually be dots). For instance, to print my design on a black shirt, they would only need to use two colors: Red and White. To put it on a white shirt the printer would use black and red. eMail me if you'd like more details.

I like the Pac-Man idea, but aren't they (the images/likeness of PacMan and the ghost) copyrighted? I believe they are owned by Namco, and we would not be able to print them without permission.

Find it odd that my designs weren't even up for voting yet something that didn't fit the 4 color rule did. Oh well, sour grapes.
