Why exactly is a website asked for in the entry form? Does it need to be a site that has the entered theme available?

Looks like I made it just in time... I've been working on it all day today!

Other thing was I discovered a bug after I submitted my theme regarding the nav bar. Will I be penalized for the bug or can I submit it again with the bug fixed?

Another thing I realized with my theme which is too late to fix is that it does not display correctly in IE6. It works fine in Firefox and IE7 though. I hope this doesn't penalize me. I think this should be judged on how good it is when displayed correctly.

I posted this in the blog comments but think it is worth mentioning here: It is hard to judge based only on a screenshot. I am more interested in the functionality of the theme. Liquid width themes working properly at different browser window sizes, sidebar widgets support, cross browser functionality, etc. Lets face it, just about anyone can make a pretty screenshot but that does not make for a prize winning theme.

Judging a Wordpress theme based on a screenshot - the largest being 320 x 300 and the smallest being 240 x 144 - is a ridiculous exercise.

Will I be able to resubmit the theme once I get the errors fixed so you could update the demo?

I have a question: What happens to the winner of this week? (I didn't even know my theme was one of those being voted on until last night! )

Hi Nicki, to answer your question... 11. Starting December 10th, Lunarpages staff will choose 5 designs each week to be featured in a weekly poll. Each weekly winner has a guaranteed spot in the final voting, where 12 finalists (6 chosen by the community and 6 by Lunarpages’ staff) will compete for the grand prizes. Submissions close on February 13th, 2008, and the winners will be announced February 24th on the Lunarpages Blog and will be featured in the February Edition of the Lunarpages Newsletter. Good luck!
