I tried to do a full backup via cpanel a few minutes ago. I know that one month ago today, I was able to do a full backup to my hard drive. Now, when I tried to do a full backup, I was informed that it would be sent to my home directory (wherever that is), and that I would be e-mailed when the backup was finished. There was no option to back up to my hard drive, which I find disturbing. How can I get the full backup to go to my hard drive instead of the LP server, which I'm assuming is where the home directory is located? After all, I don't want to use up my space on LP with backups! Sad

Thanks in advance!

The easiest way is to use an FTP program to download the backup to your hard-drive. Your home directory is the one above public_html.

You can of course move it into your public_html folder or a folder inside public_html to download it through your browser before deleting it.
