What is the difference in the back up option I see in my c-panel and the PHPMYADMIN I have read about?
Dose the full back up option in c-panel save a copy of everything under my domain?

Thanks

The cPanel solution would backup everything in your account, and the one you see in phpmyadmin is only for databases.  Thumbs Up

I am ignorant concerning this matter, but why not always do a complete backup? I have a database driven software on my site and want know the best and easiest way to back it up and restore it if needed.

Thanks again!

Some people have sites where the content and design remains the same, while the only thing that changes is the content in the database such as a forum. If this is the case, backing up the databases more often makes sense.
