Hello,

Thank you very much to help me~I try my best to tell you correctly, but due
to my poor English, please take pains to read through the following:

I have a primary domain named primarydomain.com,and and I have a addon named
addon.org,at the the sametime,I have an subdomain[bbs.addon.org]on this addon
domain.
It goes flexibile for nearly one year,But I want to add another subdomain[
bbs.xju.edu.cn],then it give me an error,Then the bbs.xjst.org is gone.and
when I visit bbs.addon.org now,it take me to LP's site directly.so I try add
bbs.addon.org,but an error occured:
* Bind reload skipped on star (nameserver disabled) Bind reloading on ns*
using rndc zone: [primarydomain.com] Bind reloading on ns*using rndc zone: [
primarydomain.com] The subdomain, bbs.primarydomain.com has been added.

Error from park wrapper: bbs.addon.org is already configured.

Removed bbs.primarydomain.com Server at line: 21258. Removed Entry from httpd.conf
Bind reload skipped on star (nameserver disabled) Bind reloading on ns*
using rndc zone: [primarydomain.com] Bind reloading on ns6 using rndc zone: [
primarydomain.com] The subdomain, bbs.primarydomain.com has been removed.

bbs.addon.com could not be setup. The subdomain bbs.primarydomain.com was not setup
either. *

Then I send Mail to support, tell what happened with the following:
*cPanel or Plesk username or the primary domain on the account:
aaaa*
*First and last characters of the password on file:
*
*First:#last:#*
*Your full postal mailing address:
*
*############
Telephone number:
####

After a few minutes,I received the confusion:

*I apologize for the confusion. You can't have a subdomain on an addon
domain because addons are actually
added as subdomains with a folder below public_html, which is the same way
subdomains work in cPanel. This was possible using older versions of cPanel
but they have removed this in current versions.*

*You can add subdomains only for primary domain. The cPanel used to just
create
it even though it would not work in earlier versions but it seems, the new
release is giving an error instead.*

Because I really need to add the subdomain of the addon[bbs.addon.org],so I
have a try to create a subdomain named test.addon.org[it have an A record to
LP],
However,IT WORKS!I think if I can add test.addon.org,I can add bbs.addon.orgtoo.
Can you help me? please...please...please....Sad

cPanel and Lunarpage's domain system do not officially support subdomains on add-on domains (or subdomains on subdomains). It's the way that things are set up (and that add-on domains are implemented as subdomains). Some people report that they've been able to do it, but the results are quirky and liable to break, so my best advice is to confine subdomains to the primary domain.

If you absolutely must have a subdomain on what is now an add-on domain, and don't need subdomains on your primary domain, ask support to swap your primary domain with the (current) add-on domain, so that xjst.org becomes your primary domain. Be sure to tell support what it is you're trying to do, so they can tell you if they expect any problems before they actually start on it. You may have to "clean up" your system first by deleting the subdomain(s) off your add-on domain, before support can do the swap.
