That is Cpanel 11 which some servers have but most are still on 10 due to server and security issues.

LP currently does not provide the X3 theme due to some compatibility issues with the theme.

LP currently does not provide the X3 theme due to some compatibility issues with the theme.

I guarantee you that a lot of people will switch to host that have x3 installed once they get to try it. It is much more dynamic and the best feature I think is filemanager with code editor.

As for "compatibility issues" I have 2 dedicated servers and another hosting account besides two accounts that I have at LP and there seem to be no issues if your cPanel is up to date.

I believe someone from support said it was problems with x3, and LunarPages' account panel.

As far as i know ( and tried ) ... LunarPages will never have the x3 Theme.

Another feature that's missing from the X Theme is in the file manager. You can't zip a custom folder from your account.

I want to make an upgrade to my phphbb forum and can't do it because i have to back-up the whole account ( ~ 1GB ) and it takes my about 4 - 5 Houres to download the backup.

You could download the forum's directory via FTP.

No, that takes even longer. Using the file manager i made a copy of my forum folder on my host ( in a custom folder outside my public_html folder named site-backups ). Quick & easy ( saves a lot of time ).

Whats the purpose of making backups, and leaving them on the server? If something causes the server to crash, or your account gets hacked/deleted...well the backup is gone too.

Yes i know this. Every friday i make a FULL backup of my account and download it to my pc.

The solution i offered 2 posts ago was for backuping when you want to make a modiffication or update your site / script.
I needed to update my phpbb from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 and that's why i made a copy of my forum in site-backups, so if i have any problem while updateing, i'll be able to restore in 10 - 15 seconds my forum ( much more faster than using FTP and my pc ).
