I was wondering if there is any way to create a new subdomain using a PHP script instead of using Cpanel? I have an application where a client can request a new subdomain to be added. Currently this is done through email and I manually create the subdomain. I would like to automate this with a PHP script.
Thanks,
Don...

Are you on a shared hosting account (Basic, Business, Reseller)?  If so, you would not be able to use a script on your account to create subdomains.  The DNS zone (this is where the DNS entries for the subdomain would have to be setup) cannot be edited by scripts on a hosting account on the shared hosting environment for security reasons.

Yes, I'm on a shared account. I was pretty sure of the answer but thought I'd check anyway. Thanks.
