Hello,
I recently had my account moved to a PHP4/5 enabled server (daybreak)
In the cPanel I clicked on the enable PHP5 button, and in my PHPinfo file (not the cPanel) it still states PHP 4.4.9
So I read this forum for help and turned the button off and on. Did not work.
Tried it several more times. Did not work.
I have concluded one of two possibilities, I need to turn the button off/on after spinning around 36 times on a blue moon. OR there is some configuration error on the daybreak server for Apache to not be able to reconcile the AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5
And yes I have checked to make sure the line is not commented out.
Any help is appreciated, but I may have to get a support ticket for help. I'll post the results here in case someone else runs into this problem.

Ok the support team helped out,

It just turns out that the sites did not propagate yet and there was a permission error in a temp directory. So I was basically looking at the old server's PHPinfo.
