My website has been hijacked.  All I want to do is completely erase it or reset it the way I originally started.  Then I can upload my info without worry of something hiding in there that I am unaware of.  Any assistance is appreciated!!

Unfortunately we are unable to offer account resets.  Please login to your control panel and delete the files you no longer require, or do this via FTP making sure not to delete any folders that were there when the account was created.

That's the problem.  What was there when I started.  I already deleted all teh html that I added but there is still something wrong and I just want to delete everything and start over.  Please don;t tell me I have to cancel my account all together and move it to another provider just to solve my problem.

Mitch, et al., I see this question come up maybe once a month. How about posting a list somewhere of what folders and files should be kept?  It would simply be a list of what's in a brand new account, including what's in the files (e.g., an empty .htaccess). Anything else not listed would obviously have been added by the user (or hijackers). An account owner could nuke everything else if they felt a need to "reset".

Nice idea Phil, I'll see if I can work that into the up-and-coming wiki project. Very Happy

dan91, send a full explanation of your situation to support@lunarpages.com.  If anything they should be able to give you some guidance on what you should and should not delete.
