Hi to all,

I am facing a serious challenge with my Lunarpage account. A few days ago, I asked support to change my main domain name because I was selling the website. This has been changed and loweringcholesterolreference.com became my main domain.

What a bad surprise I had today to notice that Google indexed all my websites 2 times: first as a subfolder of the main domain and second as domain themselves.

An example:

Add ons on this account: fatburneradvice.com, treatallnaturally.com, vitaminsreference.com

A search in Google for site:loweringcholesterolreference.com/ will lead to many results like:

loweringcholesterolreference.com/fatburneradvice/sitemap-page-order.html

loweringcholesterolreference.com/vitaminsreference/high-cholesteral-cure.html

loweringcholesterolreference.com/treatallnaturally/lower-cholesterol-naturally.html

The problem is: when I searched the add on domains themselves, the same pages are indexed:

www.fatburneradvice.com/sitemap-page-order.html (site:fatburneradvice.com)

www.vitaminsreference.com/high-cholesteral-cure.html  (site:vitaminsreference.com)

www.treatallnaturally.com/lower-cholesterol-naturally.html  (site:treatallnaturally.com)

So the same exact page is indexed 2 times and under 2 different URLs.

How to prevent this from continuing to happen (the websites are indexed as sub folders)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would suggest that you double check and make sure you do not have any links or file paths using the addon folder address.

Google and other search engines usually crawl the robot text file so you would need to configure that file to only allow what you want the search engines to crawl and as well I would also review your meta tags as well to ensure they are not being duplicated.
