What kind of security and compatibility issues are there. I want to be on a server with cPanel 11 but if it doesnt have the new theme it wont be worth the upgrade.

Yep, with Apache 2 - just put in an e-mail to support@lunarpages.com and we can move you to a server that supports it.  Bouncin for Joy

Any news on the new cpanel theme? I'm waiting for the new file manager in particular.

Thanks,

Daniel - You're not alone.  I've been posting about this on "Cpanel to dirt".  Below is my latest posting.  Would you like to join the parade?

Just finished a nice chat with Tony.  We've nailed down the wish list without including code x3.  (Sounds like a drug trial...)

(1)  The new file manager.  I'm not the only user asking for this and if LP's other clients saw it, they would want it too.  It's ridiculous that we're all using smart-ftp or other such systems because lp has such a crappy file manager for shared host clients.  Please think of me as a bulldog locking her jaws on this bone.
(2)  A better layout for the current control panel so that it's organized by function.  The thing isn't even alphabetized now.  And while it's being cleaned up, let's add phpMyAdmin to the first page rather than burying it in the mySQL manager.

Tony was skeptical about being able to change the control panel page because lp doesn't control the software.  Hmmmm.....but we're using lp's control panel page rather than the x3 cpanel11 page.  The dots don't connect.

So, I'm going to keep nagging about the file manager and hope that a little parade forms being my posts.  Tony is going to see what he can do on his end.

Onward!
