HI,
I am using sendmail and have opened port 25. I can send emails using webmin, but when I try and send an email to my server to the address in the received email or any user on my server, I get an error the the sender can not connect to my server.

Please note that I have made user my MX records are setup properly using webmin and have restarted my DNS server.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello Lloyd,

Where did you open the port 25? Providing you setup MX records and sendmail is configured to accept emails for the domain correctly, there can be two reason why the mail server of sender can connect to your server:

1. The port 25 is blocked by firewall on your server.
2. Sendmail is binding only the localhost IP on the server and is not listening on the external IP address.
