At Lunarpages, we are committed to making your Dedicating Hosting experience a trouble free and successful one.  In the past, this meant monitoring your bandwidth usage constantly and once/month sending out a notification email to those of you who were lucky enough to have the kind of high traffic that warrants extra attention.  At 80%, 90%, and 100% usage, we send out a friendly reminder that you’re nearing or had met your monthly bandwidth quota.  But there are so many of you who have these kinds of successful websites, so we are now simplifying the process and making it easier for you to get the bandwidth rates and allotments you require for your growing businesses!

We will now run daily checks and audits for every Dedicated Server in our system in order to prevent any large or unexpected bandwidth overage charges at the end of any given month.  This means that while you’ll still want to pay close attention to any notifications we send regarding bandwidth allocations (just in case you need to purchase more bandwidth in advance), we will now automatically bill your account for any overages that occur on the day you actually exceed them.

At that point, it is up to the account holder to contact us regarding the purchase of the additional bandwidth needed to cover the usage of the server for the rest of the month.  Please note, if additional bandwidth is not purchased to cover usage for the remainder of the month, the server will become inaccessible until additional bandwidth is purchased.  Bandwidth overages are charged at $0.75 per GB per month and more on this pricing can be found on the Dedicated Server page on Lunarpages.com:
