Hi,

How can i stop/restart myql server on my dedicated server? (I do not have a control panelnd it does not work with webmin)

I tried with putty with mysqld_restart and mysqld_stop commands but it did not work: "Unknown Command"

Thanks in advance for your help.

it's been a while since I worked with a RedHat box, but IIRC, either service mysqld restart or /etc/init.d/mysqld
But... having said that- on my Debian box, the command is /etc/init.d/mysql restart  - note that it is mysql *not* mysqld- that gave me:
phoenix:/etc/init.d# /etc/init.d/mysql restart
Stopping MySQL database server: mysqld.
Starting MySQL database server: mysqld.
Checking for corrupt, not cleanly closed and upgrade needing tables..
phoenix:/etc/init.d#
