Author Topic: How to Cancel Dedicated Account?  (Read 368 times)

I put in a support ticket to cancel my dedicated account about a week before my billing period, hoping it would be closed before the billing period recycled. 

I got a response from a tech who said that he would forward it to billing -- but I never got any response of any kind from anyone in "Billing."  Needless to say, I got charged for the month.
I'll eat the month I guess (about $150.)

I filed *another* ticket with Billing, stating I wanted to cancel my account. This time I've gotten *NO* response; I have no idea if this thing is going to be shut down or not, because I've received no confirmation that my request has even been received.

Am I doing this right?  I don't want to eat another month of a server I'm not using.   
I'm just perplexed because I get great service from LP 99.999% of the time -- do I need to make a phone call instead of filing support tickets?

I looked up your first ticket and I see it's waiting for a reply from you. The second one you submitted is currently in the dedicated billing desk.
