I dislike having to post this on the board, but since the live chat seems to have disapeared since the the last time I was here I don't feel like I have any choice.

My dedicated server seems to have stopped working for whatever reason. I have created a ticket:

[8033-TIPF-6562]

This has happened once before and LP did something and it came back online immidiately, so if it is really something simple it wolud be nice to be fixed (I have not altered anything on the server, I just came home from work today and have no websites). It has been down for hours now so I assume this has nothing to do with the data centre move. I have created the ticket using the normal support address because last time I e-mailed dedicated@LP I never got a reply until I emailed support@LP.

Anyway... if a staff member could look into it, it would be nice.

Hello,

Your server is OK now. There was a problem with the IPs on the nameserver but this has been fixed.

I think there is still live chat support for dedicated clients... might email dedicated@lunarpages.com about that... (and it still "exists" for us regular folks, but only at times when LP has the staff available to handle it... and lately they've been more focused on helpdesk tickets without the spare time to man the live support...)

While we do understand your frustration about dedicated chat not currently being in operation, please note that we now have a 24/7 phone line open to speak directly to one of our system admins in our datacenter. You would reach this option by calling 1-714-521-8150 and then pressing 2 for the dedicated and vps area. If you are unable to call us on this line, please provide your phone number to us and we would be more than happy to contact you from our datacenter about your server or any issues you might have on the server at any time of day or night.
