I just moved to dedicated because my php scripts were using too much CPU on a shared server.

Wordpress is my main php application. Since moving, load times on my pages have roughly doubled, from 1 to 2 seconds.

Where/what on my 'dedicated'  controls, with cPanel or WHM, do I look to monitor performance, i.e. "the user experience?"  What sort of settings could I try to adjust that might help and that won't blow things up?

Specifically, Ed at LP has suggested that I convert my RSS feed from a dynamic php thing (that recalculates each call), to a static page.  While not a 'dedicated' issue, that is the one application-specific thing that's been suggested.

Here on this forum, I am mainly looking for guidance on how to monitor and improve my server's delivery of pages to users.

My thanks to Danielle for her assistance to-date.

Stephen
