I am very very sorry to say but lunar pages has gone down the hill. I was happy with the level of support last year when dedicated@lunarpages.com used to be up most of the times as well. However now it's absolutely terrible. Support tickets aren't replied to. Voice calls go down to answering machines and our server's been down for several hours but apparently our dedicated II plan isn't good enough for lunar pages to care.

This has happened the third time in 5 months that I've received no support in time of urgency. We're losing business as we speak and I can't reach out to any one. I've called several times but all in vain. I think this is reason enough to quit lunar pages if nothing else. I was last time offered a free month of hosting but I don't think that suffices for the pathetic support you've started to offer in the past one year. What happened to dedicated@lunarpages.com?? What happened to the 24/7/365 days logo you so strongly uphold?!

I'm just very disappointed and it's a pain moving to another server but we'll have to endure it I guess as we're very unpleased. I would STRONGLY suggest that any one thinking of getting the dedicated plan should think ten times before signing up for it. The support has worsened over the year and will probably worsen in the coming months.

I am really sorry to hear about the inconveniences you are experiencing. I failed to find your account or ticket by the email address noted on your forums account. Can you please provide your primary domain name on the account or the ticket number so that we could look into your issue further and find a permanent solution to it?

Hi, does anyone know which is the "standard" or "agreed" response time for dedicated server support tickets? From my knowledge of bussiness the high paying customers receive very fast and very good customer support but this doesn't seem to be the case here. The Lunarpages support is very slow (for my standards at least); I have shared hosting accounts with other comapnies where the support is faster. Right now my ticket is 1h 30 minutes old for a simple request. Maybe the dedicated is not considered a high value customer but in this situation lunarpages should let us now that other more important customers come in 1st place and have instant support and we have to wait in line. For me this situation smells like "cost cutting" from customer service on the expense of the customers. All I see on this forum are excuses and promises but that's not what I need. Please keep your excuses and give me fast and reliable support.
If some one thinks I'm to harsh wait until you have an issue with your server and then you'll understand.

In any case, I hope I shed a bit of light on response times and letting you know about our 24x7 dedicated phone support. I used to love lunarpages support because of the lightning fast response, including that dedicated@lunarpages.com site.

At first they removed the chat, now the removed the entire domain.  I used to receive response right away for problems but that excitement is starting to fade away.  We are running Dedicated servers and I will agree with fgilani and wooqy, everything is not the same lunarpages anymore.

My server went down with ticket Ticket ID 481377 and the support ticket is 1 hour 7 minutes ago old as of this post.  Is this supposed to be normal? not even a  response saying "we are checking on your stupid little server"... why is this happening now? where is that "dedicated support for dedicated server users"?. I used to raise my head when your name is mentioned but slowly, all I am getting from my higher ups is comments from a disgruntled boss.

Is this how it is supposed to be? if it is, I might try to scout a new service that is what lunarpages used to be.

I am sorry but this is just hurting me so much I might lose my job anytime soon because of this and thanks to your "fast and efficient support".

I have to agree with those complaining here.

The support has turned into an absolute joke.

I havent opened a ticket in over a year and my God has it changed.

On the graveyard shift, average response time: 2 hours
On normal shift, average response time: 4 hours
Longest I have waited: 23 hours

One guy in particular Sarwan, continually chucks tickets back at you with one sentence lines asking for trivial information.

Thain was and still is the only guy you can trust and even then he is going from ticket to ticket... why can't these analysts stay on the same ticket?Huh?

I called support today, was told to open a ticket, that was 7 hours ago.  I called them and was told it was being worked on as I speak.  I checked who was logged on to my server..... only me.

I opened another ticket two days ago and was told my ticket was too complicated and it had been escalated to server admin group.  I called them.  The guy told me I just had to add an A record in WHM and was fixed in minutes..... what a JOKE the original analyst was!!!!

dedicatedchat used to be excellent, straight in, straight out, learn some stuff on the way.  Even putting that aside, dedicated@lunarpages.com brought back fast replies.

Now tickets are passed from "support analyst" to "support analyst" with half of them absolutely clueless. 

I am in the middle of a massive move and reorg within my network and so I can not afford to move hosts, but when things calm down I will DEFINATELY be finding another host.

Anyone reading this wondering about going for a dedicated MANAGED host - DO NOT sign up with lunarpages.... to think I even affiliated a couple of customers their way...

What has happened here is management has not been able to cope with the huge amount of extra custom.

I am going elsewhere and as soon as damn possible.

A VERY unhappy customer.
