Well, you can keep DW and just do hand coding, which is what I mostly do in DW. Smile

Hi Tranz

I also agree with you, keep the DW and do the hand coding.  Not Me Friend
You can take the tutorials from the DW for hand coding.

thanks

DW is a complicated piece of software.  I personally stayed away from it, and used simple editors like CoffeCup due to not having enough coding ability to do everythign by hand.  But some people swear by it, so Its all to personal preferenc.e

I'm thinking of using KompoZer instead of Dreamweaver.  Does anyone have experience with both and could weigh in on this decision?

I like it, and actually reviewed it as a part of our free downloads section for the Lunarpages blog:

When push comes to shove, free is a big advantage too.  Thumbs Up

use dreamweaver mx and I used to have the template issue quite often. I have removed most of the use of templates. I find that using includes is so much easier in the long run for keeping look and feel consistant. Not having to watch the FTP window chug along forever after a template change was worth the effort to elimenate the templates.
